【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60068providesmethodsoftestapplicabletoproductswhich,duringtransportation,storageorinservice,maybesubjectedtofallingdrops,impactingwaterorimmersion.Theprimarypurposeofwatertestsistoverifytheabilityofenclosures,coversandsealstomaintaincomponentsandequipmentingoodworkingorderafterand,whennecessary,underastandardizeddropfieldorimmersioninwater.Thesetestsarenotcorrosiontestsandshouldnotbeconsideredandusedassuch.Theeffectsofalargetemperaturedifferencebetweenthewaterandthespecimen,suchasincreasedwateringressresultingfrompressurechanges,aswellasthermalshock,arenotsimulated.Establishedwatertestsinotherstandardsarenotintendedtosimulatenaturalrainfallandtheirquotedintensitiesaretoohightobeadoptedforthatpurpose.Therefore,inadditiontothehigh-intensityseverities,TestRincludesanartificialraintestbaseduponnaturalconditionsbutnottakingintoaccounthighwindspeedsgenerallyassociatedwithnaturalrain.Guidanceisgivenontheapplicabilityofthetestsandtheseveritiestobeselected.
